at 9 a.m. on dec. 4, jiejing with daguan academy carried out public welfare class of seaweed health. we mainly share seaweed health knowledge with the people to prevent and improve chronic diseases in the class. the class mainly relies on the advantages of seaweed intensive processing and functional food research of jiejing for more than 50 years, and the cooperation of daguan academy to serve public health and benefit the people.

the first lecture was mainly given by shen jian, dean of jiejing marine health business college. the theme was seaweed and health knowledge. it mainly introduced the seaweed homology of medicine and food, the function of seaweed in medicine, seaweed extract, the modernization of traditional chinese medicine and chinese & western medicine have the same function.

the second lecture, mr. shen introduced the selfless contribution of marine products to human survival and health from the point of view that human beings originated from the ocean and the ocean bred and nourished human beings. during the lecture, we did some interesting experiments, for example, we made bionic food "caviar", "artificial jellyfish skin", "wing silk", "jelly", degradable children's cartoon toy "water baby" by using low calorie seaweed extract. through the experiments, we introduced the knowledge of alginate used in food, absorbing human heavy metals, helping the growth of intestinal probiotics, improving intestinal nutrition absorption and improving human health index. on and after class, we communicated actively, and mr. shen carefully answered the questions and doubts, which was unanimously agreed and welcomed by everyone.
