on november 22,2019, the second meeting of the seventh session of the china algal industry association was held in kunming. this year marks the 30th anniversary of the founding of the china algae association. the meeting paid tribute to the old leaders, experts and entrepreneurs who have been engaged in the algae industry for a long time. the meeting heard and adopted the annual report on the work of the seventh session of the council in 2019, considered the nomination of under-secretaries-general through the secretary-general of the association through the addition and adjustment of some members. to consider and adopt the naming and management measures for the main algae producing areas in china, the methods for the selection and management of chinese algae brand enterprises, and to consider and issue a letter of appointment through the composition list of the standards committee of the china algae association. the work plan for the seventh session of the council for 2020 was studied and discussed.

during the meeting, the association organized experts to conduct a preliminary review of the product standard "brown algae extract-alginin", which was drafted under the aegis of our company. zhao li, minister of quality department, explained the preparation process of the standard and reported to the audit expert. after discussion at the meeting, the experts put forward suggestions on the revision of the draft standard and entered the link of compiling the revised draft. after the completion of this link, the revised draft will be formed. after examination and approval by the experts, the follow-up procedure will be carried out in accordance with the management measures of the association's league standard, forming a wide range of draft for soliciting opinions.
